Brigadier General Clarence ‘Bud’ Anderson just passed away at the age of 102 yesterday. He was a triple-ace in WWII and the highest scoring living American fighter ace. I was honored to get to work with him on multiple publishing projects over the last 30 years, my favorite being this history of the 357th Fighter group:
